The 2008 Detroit Lions season was the 79th season for the franchise in the National Football League. The Lions became the first team in NFL history to compile an 0-16 record. Well, folks that has all changed. Hallelujah! The Detroit Lions have won their first game (pre-season) against the Atlanta Hawks 27 - 26. Mama is proud.
They deserve some recognition. Even my Cowboys lost their first game.
Whatever. It's still pre-season and I'm not concerned yet. Go Lions! Yeah right.
