The Brady Crunch

Congratulations to the New York Jets for shutting down Tom Brady. Tom Brady's streak of 21 consecutive wins as starting quarterback (one shy of Jim McMahon's record since the merger) came to an end. The Brady bunch (New England Patriots) lost at home 16 - 9.

I can't believe the Titans are 0-2.

I can't believe my Cowboys lost! Oh well. Hopefully it's their only one.

Giants WR Mario Manningham caught 10 passes for 150 yards and one TD vs. the Cowboys.

Bad Boys Bad Boys Whatcha Gonna do. . . . .

Well, I hope all you NFL players listen to mama and leave those skank ho's alone. Every time you mess with them this is what happens. . . . . .

San Diego Chargers star outside linebacker Shawne Merriman was arrested Sunday and accused of choking and restraining reality TV star Tila Tequila as she tried to leave his suburban home. Merriman, 25, was taken into custody and booked into the central jail at about 8:30 a.m. He was released shortly after 11 a.m.

Of course there are 2 sides to every story. I think Merriman will be alright. Besides, he doesn't have time for this. The season begins on Thursday! And I am ready for some football.

Mama's pick of the week. . .

For opening night Tennessee Titans @ Pittsburgh on Thursday, September 10, my pick is Steelers to win by 14 points and the final score will be over 35. I believe it will be a high scoring game. The Steelers must live up to their Superbowl status. And if anyone remembers, the Titans whooped them back in December 2008, 31-14. So they must make a strong comeback. Go Steelers!

NFL Hardest Hits. . . . Check it out the videos on the side bar (top right)!

And now a few look a likes. . .
LeSean McCoy, running back for the Philadelphia Eagles. He was drafted by the Eagles in the second round (53rd Overall) of the 2009 NFL Draft. He played college football at the University of Pittsburgh. His look a like is Tyson Beckford, model and actor.

Richard Quinn of the Denver Broncos ( former University of North Carolina tight end) and his look a like Puff Daddy, or P-Diddy, or a.k.a Sean Combs. Mama is confused!

Mark Sanchez, quarterback for the New York Jets. He was drafted in the first round of the 2009 NFL Draft and he played college football (quarterback) at the University of Southern California (USC). His look a like is actor Adrian Grenier from the hit show Entourage.

Good luck to all the NFL teams this season.
Go Cowboys!
